High Mountain Events

With a background in marketing and sales, Steve Maitland, the founder, has been producing events since 1984. In 1990 he started hosting Street Fairs and Cruise Nights at his Truckee, California restaurant, The Mountain Grill. From producing these shows he started High Mountain Productions.

From there he continued to do more Street Fairs and branched out into Classic Car Shows. In 1995 he closed the restaurant so that he could do events full time.

Today High Mountain Productions provides local and popular entertainment, beautiful cars, and a large variety of vendors in some of the best Classic Car Shows and Street Fairs in the Northern Nevada (Reno, Carson City, Sparks, Lake Tahoe & Lake Topaz) and California (Truckee and Lake Tahoe) areas. High Mountain Productions also produces one of the top Hot Spots for the Hot August Nights Event at the Atlantis Hotel Casino Resorts $10,000 Cruise of Champions Crusin Street Fair.

Since it was started High Mountain Productions has also produced several events for Community Service Organizations (Optimist clubs, MDA, Kruzin for Kids etc.), which have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to be put back into the surrounding communities.
